除了解釋為“清楚的，明確的”以外，clear 作形容詞，也可以解釋為“無罪的，不虧心的”，新二L45的課文標題 A clear conscience
其實clear還可以用作動詞，含義為“越過”。新二L43課中 The plane was then able to rise and it cleared the mountains by 400 feet.
